About Us
Solutions Educational Psychology is an independent educational and child psychology service working with children and young people, their families and educational settings in Hertfordshire, Essex, and North London. We may also be able to offer online support for those further afield.
Dr Emma Sheffield, lead practitioner, is a qualified Educational and Child Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council with over 14 years experience working in educational services. She started her career as a primary school teacher, during which time she completed a Master’s degree in Teaching and Learning. Emma then went on to complete the Doctorate in Educational and Child Psychology at University College London. Following a number of years working in an inner-London local authority, Solutions Educational Psychology was founded to enable a more flexible and creative way of applying psychology to make a difference to the lives of children and young people.
We are adapting our ways of working during the COVID 19 Pandemic and are able to offer remote consultations and assessments, as well as face-to-face work following social distancing guidelines. Please contact us directly for more information.
